This is a form of decoration for the homes of the Hindus. The decorative patterns made with rice flour and is usually drawn on the floor in front of the door. Kolams serve as a symbol for his guests to the entrance of the house in order to prepare for the festival., Old clothes are gone before the party starts thrown. The houses are cleaned and decorated in preparation for Pongal. For the festival Hindus buy new clothes and the ladies prepared by the families of candy. There is also a belief that the Hindu harvest festival is a wealth and goodness to bring their homes. During the festival, organized entertainment events such as bullfights, too.
