Thoonga Nagaram' which hit screens today starring pasanga fame Vimal, actress Anjali of Angadi Theru fame is a subject based on the backdrop of Madurai. The debudant director Gaurav is a former associate of K.s.Ravikumar. Thoonga Nagaram is about the life of four different boys in teens whose life turns upside down after a particular incident.  Bharani of Nadodigal fame & Nishanth also plays the lead roles. The debudant director Gaurav also does an important role in this flick. Sundar C.Babu of Anjathey fame has composed tunes for all musical tracks of this flick. Vijay Ulaganathan has handled cinematography a former associate of K.V.Anand and editing by Suresh and art direction by Santhanam. Union Minister M.K.Alagiri has done a cameo appearance in this film.
