Two new caps were named in the fourteen man squad for the ODI series against India on Thursday.
Faf du Plessis, batsman for the Titans and Imran Tahir, born in Paksitan but recently qualified for South African citizenship, will be making their debuts.
Only Jacques Kallis was not considered as he is injured.
